YAAAS! Look at you! All on top of your shit.

Applications will be accepted beginning Monday, January 21st, 2019, through Thursday, March 7th, 2019 at 11:59PM (23.59).

TO APPLY: Please send a writing sample and a short bio to the email address below. Requirements are as follows:

  1. WRITING SAMPLE — A work of creative fiction (open to interpretation) totaling no more than 10 pages. Please send in pdf format.

  2. BIO — Short and sweet is best! Just tell us about yourself. This can be written in the body of your introductory email. Please include your preferred gender pronoun, any nicknames or nom(s) de plum. The writing sample is priority one for us and education and professional achievements will not be taken into account. While we welcome the inclusion of this information, it is absolutely not required! It is our aim to curate a group that will mesh well, that will foster a sense of community and partnership that will create an atmosphere of support and inclusion that we hope will continue after the Workshop ends. Be personable and direct.

COSTS: Hypergraphic believes that taking a chance shouldn’t cost you anything, which is why we promise to NEVER charge an application fee. If accepted you will be invoiced for an all inclusive $250 participation fee due by the start of the first session, to be paid via PayPal/Venmo. This covers space rental at The Center, materials, and refreshments at each weekly session, as well as costs associated with end of iteration publishing. Additionally, we will host a closing party to provide networking opportunities, and will invite a guest speaker or auditor to pay a visit during the course of the Workshop. There will be no other costs or requests for additional payments; cross our hearts and hope to die!

NOTE: Please refer yourself to our mission, our age restrictions, and with our alumni profiles in advance of your application. We hope that you want to know just as much about us as we want to know about you. BE OUR FRIEND!
